Release Day Angst

Two days until release (or two and a half, depending on how you look at it). So hard to believe. The writing is done, my part is finished, and now it's coming to all of you. I'm equal parts excited and terrified. It's impossible to describe, really. I can honestly say no other release has left me twisted in so many knots. I want to deliver,  I want to make you all happy. I know that's a lofty goal, but there you go. Will it happen? I hope so.

Advanced reader copies were sent out a couple of days ago. Thus far the positive response has been more than I could have possibly dreamed of. Unfortunately, when release day arrives, I'll be doing what I said I would -- going into hiding. Sure I'll be lurking (and checking my emails, etc), but I'll only come out when I have to. I'll also do a post on release with links to purchase sites. Since you might not hear from me, I wanted to let you know a few things.

1. The book WILL be on Amazon.com within 24 hours (on Kindle). Print takes a bit longer, so please be patient.

2. Mundania is having a sale on their site and the book is available in all ebook formats there. For those of you who have inquired about the Nook, you can purchase the book there and upload it to your device no problem.

3. The book will NOT be available in the bookstore on the shelves. As much as I wish it was, I am an e-press author. That means my print books are created via POD (Print On Demand). I apologize in advance for the inconvenience. I purchase books too and know how frustrating it is not to be able to own print on the day of release.

I think that about covers it. I'm going to end this post with a super-special author blurb graciously given to me for The Renfield Syndrome (will be on the back of the print version).

Yow! I loved the new places this book took me, and the inspired twists along the way...The Renfield Syndrome roars with fun, danger, and sexy intrigue. ~ Carolyn Crane, author of the Disillusionists Trilogy

It's almost here. The clock is winding down.

Don't stress about the print thing, downloading an ebook is much faster anyway.

Looking forward to release day! I'm fortunate enough to have the day off, so I already know what I'll be doing with it. :)

so excited. I just saw Mandi's comment (Smexy Books-love this blog site). This is going to be a "drop everything I am doing and read" book . Got a bagful of confetti ready to throw.
