The Ripple Effect -- Almost Here!

It's hard to believe in a little over a month The Ripple Effect will release. I've been hard at work editing the manuscript. To be honest, this is probably my least favorite part of the process. Worry and dread start sinking in during edits.

Will people like the story? Will the book tank? Will they come back for more?

I'm hoping folks will enjoy the story, but I learned a long time ago I can't please everyone. Due to that I've decided to return to my horror roots (I wrote poetry with dark themes in college) and hope for the best. Does that mean The Ripple Effect is a horror novel? Nopers. But it does have things some readers probably won't like. The world of demons is a dark one. I wanted to show that right away, so readers know what to expect. Nothing annoys me more than reading about a big, bad villain who turns out to be pussy cat.

Just to let you know, the book will be on sale at Mundania, Amazon, and Barnes and Noble (not sure of specifics but it'll be uploaded to Nook retailers). I'll share links when I receive them. I haven't started Edge of Darkness (Rhiannon's Law, Book Four) but I know what happens in the opening scene. While I can't tell you what it is, I can tell you what song inspired it (and had Rhiannon appearing in my head to show me what to expect).

Don't let the light, good-humored tone fool you. The Ripple Effect is a total game changer. Edge of Darkness delves into the life of a person who's had the rug pulled from beneath them and faces a free fall.

As Rhiannon would say: Shit just got serious.
