The Ripple Effect: Release Day Gift Basket

The Ripple Effect releases July 31st! In order to celebrate I thought it might be fun to have a contest. The rules are simple! Enter for a chance to win. There are no international restrictions, etc. Just show the love, tell your friends, and we're straight.

Ready to find out what I'm giving away? Take a look below.

First is nail polish. I know, I know. Rhiannon wouldn't be caught dead wearing nail polish (no pun, I swear) BUT this is something I know she'd get behind due only to the name of the color: Fuck Off and Dye. Fear not, the polish is unisex, so ANYONE can wear it.

Second is something Rhiannon "would" like --  a skull shot glass:

Third is a copy of one of Rhiannon's favorite flicks on DVD:

Fourth is a signed copy is a copy of Eyes on Me and More Than Words (short stories available on my blog) that will be printed out, put into a folder, and signed by yours truly.

And last but not least...

I will sign a copy of the poster art created by comic book artist Fwah Storm for the Rhiannon's Law series. NO one else (but Fwah) has these. They are one of a kind. Get this and you'll be the only one of the rare few who has one (please note the fonts on the image below will NOT be on the poster you receive. Dimensions are 16 1/2 X 11/ 1/2 inches):

Interested? Awesomesauce! Leave a comment and let me know what you love most about Rhiannon's Law. Thanks again for supporting the series. Without you it would be "The End."

**PLEASE NOTE: Winner chosen by Random.org. Contest is international and will end on release day (July 31st) after which I'll announce the winner. Entries are only applicable if placed HERE. Not on Facebook or Twitter. Please leave a valid email address. If I can't contact the winner within 48 hours I'll move to the second, third, etc person in line.**

I love that Rhiannon isn't a doormat. She kicks major ass & doesn't need to be rescued by the men in her life every time she gets into trouble. Not much annoys me more than a heroine who is too inept save her own ass. Rhiannon will NEVER be that heroine =)

What's not to love about Rhiannon? She's gutsy, loyal, and takes no sh*t from no one but also very human in every way. Plus she's got 2 leading males at her mercy. :)

I would like to co-sign jaymzangel's comment above and also add that I LOVE Gabriel! And the Rhiannon's Law world is amazing with all the supernatural characters and I love the plot twists & character interactions and the dialogue is laugh out loud funny. And did I mention that I LOVE Gabriel!

I love that I can relate to Rhiannon. I'm not much of a girly girl so sometimes relating to a heroine can be hard for me. I've never had that problem with Rhiannon because she is kick ass.

I love how dark and gritty the series is. Rhiannon is a "real" girl who is not concerned with what others think about her. She just does what she feels needs to be done and doesn't give a fuck.

With so may sappy romances out there, it's great to read a dark story that still involves sex and possible relationships that aren't typical. It's not fun when I can guess how things will play out. When I know the heroine is being stupid beyond belief and sacrificing her safety in the name of "independence".

LOL. I just want off a little bit there! :)

But yeah, that's why Rhiannon is so awesome.

Best heroine character that I've read by far! She's a strong character and not a "oh, poor me!" girl, which I find annoying and puts me right off! Love Payne! Hope they'll end up together! (= Love your books, Jaime! Your stories are enchanting and unpredictable which is great cos it keeps me guessing and wanting more. Rhiannon not only doesn't give a F but she's got a vulnerable side too which keeps it real! Love ya and can't wait for the third book!

What's not to love about Rhiannon. She is a strong assertive woman who says what is on her mind and doesn't feel the need to apologize for it. I am rooting for Rhiannon and Payne, but I am anxious to see what the future holds for all of the characters. Counting down the days!!

I love Rhiannon because even though she is weaker than all the vampires and demons around her, she still fights. She still tells them no and whips out her butterfly knife. I love that she is street smart and not fickle. Disco did a terrible thing and unlike other fictional characters she doesn't run back to him. She loves him yeah, but like in real life that isn't enough to get forgiveness when someone does something awful. she is no-ones damsel in distress waiting for the smoldering male troupe character to resue her.

Love rhiannon and love her laws!

I love that the author is an awesome person. I haven't had the opportunity to read your books yet. I'm so broke right now, it's ridiculous! :(

Well, duh, Rhiannon kicks ass, but it's her relationship with Disco and Payne that drives me wild!
I'm secretly still hoping for her to become the creme filling to THAT sandwich! I mean, really, who could choose between those amazing men!?!

What do I love about Rhiannon's Law? This is more a craft answer: the series evolves organically and doesn't shy from being dark and brutal and honest. I remember reading about a certain plot change in book one, one that had major bearing on subsequent installments...I thought it was awesome because it showed a willingness to go wherever the story needed to go...it feel like a living, organic thing. When I read the next book, the story didn't go where I expected it to, but it still somehow felt like things progressed exactly as they were *meant* to.

Hopefully the above makes sense. It's just that i've seen too many series where plot arcs are artificially prolonged or suspended to make more books...or the story avoids adding or removing beloved elements for fear of (insert whatever here). It's freaking breath of fresh air to have a series truly feel like it's serving itself first...

You had me at dodging a bullet with the Price is Right reference...Rhiannon is angsty (with more than enough reason to be) and I got her after chpt 21, in the first book. Then at about chpt 6 of the second book. I was like: "Who is this chick with the death wish...?" I LIKE HER! I am totally hooked on this series. Can't wait...

I Love The whole series... This is the first series that I have read which has me feeling torn between Disco and Payne, usually I pick a team, but I love them both.

I got addicted just from the first book. I love strong heroine leads and Rhiannon is just that. She is able to help others and stay strong even when things aren't going as planned. I also love that she has such hot guys after her. I love both Disco and Payne. That happened after reading book two. I'm so looking forward to the next book because I have no idea what will happen. I hope there is a lot of action! (Oh and I like that these are more adult~ I gotta have the sexyness.)

Rhiannon is Rhiannon. I love that she is so real and so doesn't give a damn. She's strong and witty which makes her likable but she has flaws which makes her relatable. More than that though, what drew me in, is that nothing is at it seems. You think you know what is going to happen next, but then there's another curve ball thrown in. That's what makes these books so addictive. Her story is so beautiful and yet tragic. Every other paranormal romance finds her man and then everything is peaches. So not like real life. Shit happens. How you take that shows who you are. If Rhiannon was real, I would love to buy her a beer.

I love Rhiannon and her attitude. She's a strong, independent woman, and that rocks! And I love your writing style too. :-D

A more appropriate question would be what's not to love about Rhiannon:) She is simply the most kick-ass female I've ever come across in both fiction and real life. She is seriously a character I would love to trade places with.

Rhiannon is my favorite KICKASS heroine who doesn't take shit from anyone. She was my first book girlfriend and still holds the number one spot in my heart. Plus: Disco & Paine. What's NOT to love about the series?? I will forever be a Rhiannon's Law cheerleader (despite me hating cheerleaders - leftover feelings from high school I think).

I know you have my email addy (my personal one, even!) but to make it all official-like... mamakitty(at)mamakittyreviews(dot)com

Just one thing that I love about the series?!? What to pick........like most I love Rhiannon herself. How she has her faults, her own vulnerabilities, but can still hold her own against vampires, were, and demon-gods. All with a sarcastic sense of humor! Love her!!

I love that ALL the characters are fully fleshed and multi dimensional. Even the incidental characters act and react in believable ways. Because of this it has to be the best PNR series I have read...ever!
I can't wait till the next book comes out.

I love the wide array of characters and especially Rhiannon herself. She is tough and doesn't take shit from no one.

mel said...

Rhiannon knows the sacrifices she's going to have to make and doesn't shy away from the darkness or from doing the deed herself. She's not the type to be a distressed damsel and have Gabriel else do the dirty work for her. On the other hand, she's not been a mary sue, or that 'tough as nails, doesn't think about others' chick, and I don't see Saare letting her turn into one either.

Dear Jamie: You need not worry so much!! We are your FANS, we love your stories no matter what happens. I happen to love a good character shakedown...sitting on the edge of my seat and jumping up to say "Noooooo" (scaring the be-jesus out of the family!!) As for Rhiannon - I hope she makes the same choice as I would between Disco & Paine: which is BOTH. I sometimes have to wait for a while to get your work up here in Canada, I love having the physical Book in my hand but I'm so much less likely to *Peak* at the ending in an eRead!! I'll be grabbing the eRead as soon as I can get it! Cheers & Congrats on your release Christine (AKA Vamps N' Tramps Bookgroup) xchristinex2010@live.com

I have a few reasons I love Rhiannon's law. First the laws are hilarious and true mostly so that's a huge plus for me. Also the fact that she's a heroine who truly stands on her own &kicks some ass. Sometimes I don't have the guts to do that &Rhiannon gives the inspiration to do it.

Thank you for writing the series &for this contest too. ヽ(^。^)ノ ↖(^▽^)↗

I love how she's independent. I think it's one of the best qualities a person can have and while most people think they have it, only few do. Rhiannon has it.

I have say that there are many reason Rhiannon's Law is the #1 book series in a very long list of favorites and that mainly is why I love this series. Between Goose's strawberry themed kitchen and Rhiannon's take-crap-from-no one mentality while sarcastically putting them in their place this series had me in love and craving my next fix. She's a real character with issues and she knows it, but she deals with it and it makes her who she is.
