Writing Status -- The Renfield Syndrome
Mood -- A-Okay
Playing on itunes -- Ready to Meet Him by DMX
I had a very interesting conversation today. While discussing The Renfield Syndrome with Bells, she mentioned Disco and asked about the first time he met Rhiannon. She wanted to know more about that night at Shooter's Pool Hall and what went down. As we talked about it, I mentioned that I might write a vignette to share. She became very excited and said she believed people would really enjoy reading about that moment in the past.
I started writing the vignette today. My hope is to have it written and edited by Friday, August 6th. I'll post it up in the morning and feature it the entire weekend. So if you're interested in learning what went down the first time Rhiannon set eyes on a certain vampire, be sure to visit the blog.
As for The Renfield Syndrome -- things are coming along nicely. I've slipped right back into the story and it's my goal to have it written by the end of August or the beginning of September (as I'd promised some months ago). Once I have things up to snuff (and jump through the normal hoops that follow completing a story and contracting it with a press), I'll do everything I can to get it to those of you have been so awesome and supportive.
I hope you enjoy this installment of the Rhiannon's Law series as much (if not more) than you did Dead, Undead, or Somewhere in Between. I'm already plotting the third book -- The Ripple Effect -- and can't wait to share some surprises that I hope you don't see coming.

I can't lie, I'm excited for the vignette. And for The Renfield Syndrome. And for The Ripple Effect. OMG girl, get to writing! =)
I'm so happy for you! I'm dying to read Dead... still. It's on the TOP of my to buy list - once I get my review pile and TBR pile down some. Yea for you! and us!
Hello mrs Saare.
I hope you're well.
I just finished reading your book Dead, Undead or Something in Between and I enjoyed it a lot!!
Thank you for writing it in the first place.
I've been reading some things about the second book here in your blog and I'm concerned, isn't Rhiannon going back to her present and eventually find a happy - even if demanding - life with Disco?
It seems, by some snippets, that you're trying to present a possibility of a relationship between her and Paine?
I must confess I liked all "good" characters, and it seems Disco might be hurt...well, now that I think about it, all of them would...it might be silly but sometimes I feel rather connected to the characters...and it happened with yours - your voice and ability rock - so can you just say if you're going this path? I'm not begging for spoilers, just wondering...
Take care and keep writing good things! :)
