Cover Art, Video & Other Things

I know it's been a long time (too long) since I've updated the blog. Things have been extremely chaotic in my home. Since November we've been battling various flu viruses. None of them have been kind. Combined with the holiday season, I didn't have a whole lot of time to do anything (except complain on Facebook). Fortunately I have some exciting news that, I hope, will excuse the absence.

As I've mentioned previously, I'm attending the SF Ball in Bournemouth this February where Reload Comics will be selling a comic version of Eyes On Me (a short story from the Rhiannon's Law series). All proceeds will go to the Teenage Cancer Trust. I was thrilled to be able to take part of something so amazing while also helping those in need.

For those who've asked, Reload will have any remaining copies for sale on their website following the event. I'll also be hitting the recording studio for The 11th Hour while I'm in the UK. If any video is shot (they've been compiling clips of the actors each session) I'll be sure to share.

Thanks again for all your emails, support and continued generosity. Although time has been limited I have managed to get some writing done.To answer a few other questions: Yes, there are more books following Vampire Mine (which is still my main priority at the moment). There will also be (at this time) two more books following Marked. I will be writing the follow-up to Make Me Shiver (entitled Make Me Surrender) as well. I have decided I will be unplugging from the internet in March (much like I did in August) to get work done prior to the summer. As soon as I have a solid schedule in place, I'll let you know where certain projects stand. Have no fear, my assistant Holly will be around to answer any questions while I'm away.

P.S. I almost forgot! A Kiss Before Dying is being re-released as Kiss Before Dying at Ellora's Cave under the Aline Hunter pen. It's a bit hotter and a few hundred words longer. I'll also be attending the Sassy Seven Naughty Sleepover in San Antonio in February. If you're in the area, I hope to see you there!

Darkest Hunger

Several folks have asked about the cover for Darkest Hunger (formerly Dark Hunger on a Killing Moon). Well, here it is. The book will release tomorrow at Loose Id and is the second installment of the Desires of the Otherworld series. While different than Eternity and a Day, the story does have a few returning characters.

I mailed off the contract for Eternity and a Day to Loose Id this morning. I have never been more nervous! I'm not sure why. I've done this before, but somehow, it feels...different.

Tonight marks the return to NaNo. Hopefully I will be productive and get some writing done.
